Protect rubber hoses from radiant heat damage, increasing their lif. Used to insulate ait intake tubes from radiant heat lowering your intake temperature and increasing horsepower. Special coating allows this sleeving to reflect and dissipate heat. The flexible braid allows it to expand from and I.D 44mm(1 3/4") to 56.35 (2 3/8") and is capable of withstanding 648.8°C (1200°F) continuous. It can be fastened using stainless steel ties or hose clamps.
